Meet Dr. David Taber

I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to be an orthodontist and have the ability to help my patients create the healthy, beautiful smiles they deserve. I absolutely love what I do, and after 35 years of practicing, I still look forward to going to work every day. You will always be treated as an individual, and my staff and I have fun providing your orthodontic care. We want to make it fun for you as well!

Education

I received my Bachelor of Science degree and graduated with distinction, earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery, finishing fourth in a class of 111, and continued on for my Master of Science in Orthodontics all from the University of Minnesota. I take numerous continuing education courses annually so my patients can take advantage of the newest and most advanced treatment technology available.

I am a native of Bemidji and currently reside in Winona with my wife, Sandy. We have three grown children, Brandon, Jason, and Cortney, and a dog, Maple. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy fishing, hunting and making traditional folding pocket knives. I am also an avid long-distance runner and have completed eight marathons. I have been a member of the YMCA and the Chamber of Commerce for 33 years.
