Hi I am Noelle and I am proud to say I've been working in the orthodontic field for Dr. Taber for 32 years! I began my journey at Dr. Taber's office as a Licensed Dental Assistant & seven years later I found a new career as the Office Administrator. I love seeing the changes in our patients' smiles and the confidence it gives them. I also enjoy the challenge of learning the insurance industry and helping our patients understand their benefits. My responsibilities include all administrative tasks, insurance and accounts to ensure a smooth financial process for all our patients. Dr. Taber has been great to work for! He is a skilled and experienced Orthodontist that brings bright smiles to all our patients. We make a difference here, and knowing that you can change someone's life makes my job an A+!

I am happily married to my husband of 27 years. I have been blessed with two children and three grandchildren, Harlan, Myles and Dolly, anytime I can spend with them is a great day! In my free time I enjoy working outside, hiking, gardening, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends.

Heather Lorenz

Dental Assistant

Heather began her dental career after graduating from the Dental Assisting Program at Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) in 2004. She worked in general dentistry before joining Dr. Taber Orthodontics later that same year, where she quickly discovered her passion for creating confident smiles and supporting patients through their orthodontic journeys.

After eight fulfilling years, Heather left in 2012 to pursue her undergraduate and master’s degrees at Winona State University. During that time, she explored her other passions and entrepreneurial spirit, founding two businesses — Journeys with Heather and Studio HALO — both centered around personal growth, healing, and holistic well-being.

In April 2022, Heather returned to Dr. Taber Orthodontics part-time, reconnecting with the joy of helping others find their perfect smile. Her return felt like coming home — a place filled with laughter, purpose, and genuine connection alongside Dr. Taber and Noelle.

Outside the office, Heather enjoys spending her free time reading, hiking, camping, traveling, and practicing yoga — whether in the company of family and friends or during peaceful solo adventures
